I, ___________________________, authorize and consent to be proposed by "DARE HR CORP" and submit my application for the requirement of "2497802" "Computer Application Support Advanced level." I acknowledge my availability for this requirement. The specific duties of this position are:
· Analyse and Design new features/functionality for the client-server application
· Implementation of client-server features/functionality
· Integration and testing of new and existing functionality to ensure system integrity
· Design and maintenance of the C++ client portion of the application
· Understand and incorporate Military specific requirements
· Integration with third party software, proprietary and open source
· Design and maintenance of the Oracle application implementation
· Ensure the security and integrity of the Oracle Database
· Database performance tuning
· Monitor and track the Production system performance
· Design the database such that it performs its own system maintenance (delete unused accounts, delete obsolete user warning messages, remove old data from log tables)
· Create interfaces to external data sources
· Load and ensure the integrity of the data delivered from these external sources
· Trouble shoot client issues
· Interact with select client representatives for requirements gathering and proof of concept
· Support development and help desk staff in trouble shooting system issues
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision
· Manage a small team of developers
· Mentoring junior team members
· Ensure that project management in kept informed of progress and roadblocks
· Investigate ways to minimize overhead and make the application perform optimally
· Tracking of system performance, system resource usage
· Explore new technologies for potential use within the system
· Provide reliable and accurate estimates for work units
